HBDUSAYeah Texas is like that considering it was it’s own republic before being annexed by the US. Texas flag is the only flag allowed to be flown at the same height as the American flag. Lot of things like that have held on from history.
Interesting, actually didn't know this. Considering there are very large parts of the history of that state, it does make sense. Wondering how glorified it is though, questionable to what they are teaching about the alamo.
