Don't think I like Turner moving Dynamite to TBS for the NHL but at least AEW is getting a second show.
Still going to get 4 special AEW events on TNT even with the move to TBS plus the additional 1 hour weekly show Rampage...hoping for the best but kind of wish they'd let them stay put
Doesn't Dynamite get better ratings than the NHL?
No, they average 1.35 million.
But AEW is close to them.
NHL probably gets better advertisers too as wrestling is still looked at as Carny.

I'm reading people saying TBS is in more than a million houses compared to TNT's numbers.
Might be the way to grow a little bit more and more trough the time.
Interesting what are they gonna do with the TNT title tho since they won't be on TNT anymore.
What leaves me doubtful is the hour on Friday.
We'll have: Elevation, DARK, Dynamite and Rampage.
That's a lot of hours of programs
AEW's audience is pretty loyal so as long as they promote the channel change enough I don't think they'll lose viewership and may gain viewership even considering all the competition-type shows that are on TBS (Go Big Show, that John Cena s***, etc.)...I wouldn't say AEW is the same thing as that at all but I could see viewers of those shows having a chance to check out AEW even more and stick with it if they're on the same channel...plus the 4 special events on TNT could be built up as huge deals and score them big ratings as well...overall just the fact that AEW will now be on two different channels is a crazy thing for them...really hoping they get a Network-type app going soon too for their back catalog

I mean Dynamite is still going to be called Dynamite and TNT relates to dynamite as well not just the channel so they could always make that argument...don't really want to see it changed to the TBS title because that doesn't sound as good lol
TNT gave em the platform, absolutely no reason to change the titles name, especially with its play on the word Dynamite lol

plus we're still getting the 4 special events yearly on TNT (I'm guessing Beach Bash and Fyter Fest would be two of them)
Do y'all think the 4 Supercards events will be AEW vs NJPW vs Impact?
Or something like All In, a big event with wrestlers from different companies?
apparently TBS actually gets bigger viewership than TNT so that’s a plus for AEW here

F***,I knew they were gonna move Dynamite to TBS,hope it doesn’t end up being permanent. Their identity is built around TNT.

It more than likely depends on what it is. If you have TNT,you have TBS so AEW fans crossing over shouldn’t be that big of a deal. When I really think about it,TBS may be a better fit for a wrestling product but TNT just holds that history I guess but if they get better ratings on TBS and don’t have to worry about the NBAor whatever interrupting them, maybe they should stay.
