Dark side did the Owen episode approved by Martha
Dark side and pw tees did the first Owen Merch in decades which was also approved by Martha
Pw tees has a very close business relationship with AEW
I think this lead them to feeling comfortable discussing this with the estate, who was most likely more willing to discuss it since it is outside of WWE
Bret also debuted the AEW world championship forever ago

Only thing he did was bury guys and run Mickie James out of the company which is Saint-like compared to everyone else.

The only top guy who also isn't as bad is Rock at least from what I know

I listened to sami’s second appearance on oral sessions this morning, and I am blown away as to how this guy functions in wwe
He was talking about all these eccentric and super interesting views on psychology and humanities, and I can see why Vince would see him as kind of an off the wall guy, hence his booking on the main roster. I would love to be a fly on the wall for their conversations
I hope we see him in AEW before the year is over he seems like a sweetheart and a very deep thinker

Realistically the brand split concept peaked in 2005 when they had the brands beefing. They tried to recreate this angle multiple times over the years but this was the best one. Build up was crazy

They don’t have enough star power for 2 brands anymore, 2016 was the best we’re gonna get in modern day

realistically speaking HBK, Kane & Big Show carried Team Raw cuz Kane & Big Show were having that dominant tag team run and 05 HBK was constantly giving quality matches.

Smackdown's team was stacked and remember before Eddie died he was supposed to have Randy's spot

I’m like going over other rosters and I think that 96/97 WCW, 1999/2000 WWF, some roster around 2005ish WWE and peak NXT WWE are the only competitors
I do think there is something to be said for AEW making the most of their WWE pickups. Like right now Rusev, Black, Soho and Pac just off top are all talents people wanted to see more of and AEW made them valuable commodities
