they have a win/loss/draw system, so I don't think anyone should be surprised they've used it or disappointed tbf

they werent gonna trade wins losses regardless since theres new matchups at any given time

it does protect them but i feel aew handles losses good. fanfare really doesnt dwindle for certain talent after a loss

AEW did this to swerve the smarks tbh. I'm actually for the non-predictability that they're trying to take. Unfortunately a lot of us have been accustomed to knowing the outcome of a match due to the nature of wrestling and booking. This honestly keeps things fresh.

If it's a NIL deal then yeah, from the tweet I assumed they signed actual developmental deals but I didn't really look too deep into it tbh
