Should've never been put in those positions in the first place. Dudes were wrestling in Japan and the American Indies, now their expected to help run and grow a major American wrestling promotion on national TV.
Honeymoon phase over, time for real management
I agree. No active wrestler in the company should be an executive. Just asking for trouble
Maybe Tony Con will stop running his company like he's playing with his action figure collection now
There wouldn’t be a company without them.
It wouldn't,but at the same time,AEW was running itself fo awhile with all the new talent, new ideas and just everything being new. Now,everything isn't new and it might be like that for awhile, now you need to work with what you got,and the biggest piece they have doesn't even f*** with the Executive Vice Presidents
People only concerned about the Punk part of the presser and not Tony almost letting his Coke Boy persona take over.
Those eyes darting

Jericho seems like he'll be ready for that spot soon...I feel like he'll be retiring from in ring stuff in the next few yrs and transition into a more behind the scenes role with the company and maybe do commentary more frequently...like I said last night even if I don't like him as a person dude is undeniably loyal to AEW...his part of the media scrum is getting overshadowed by the drama but he was dropping knowledge
You can hear it smh
Sammy and Tay roughing it out lately.

The fact he spoke to the talent in that meeting with Tony and the EVP’s sounds like he unofficially is.

Completely agree, and Jericho alluded to that on the scrum. He should be the EVP over The Elite in the next year going into the future w/ Regal being in charge or booking, and honestly AEW will be fine w/o them. Only major loss to them would be Omega. Mayyyybe Hangman.
Bucks are washed and are too f***ing immature for that responsibility.

Jericho, Regal, and Pat Buck would be great as head of creative/talent relations
Funny thing about the “Cody seen the writing on the wall” take I’ve been seeing on social media is that people have been using it to mean that Cody had a problem with Punk but iirc wasn’t Cody not getting along with The Elite or some s***?

He wasn't
According to the Mac's sources, they held back on reporting Cody distancing himself from them

Yep, it was The Elite
That’s a common denominator nobody is talking about lmao
You try to spin it that way and some people might be like “no Cody was the bad guy” since they love The Elite so much

Cody wasn’t the bad guy for wanting Punk money and Tony wasn’t the bad guy for not giving him Punk money.
And both guys have said that’s what the issue was. Didn’t have anything to do with the Elite and Cody made it clear with that last AEW promo with him railing on Punk for walking through the door he built the hinges on.
Asking the booker if he would’ve called an audible while the champs/winners of the match were sitting right there is hilarious. Didn’t watch the press conference but I’m presuming Swerve and Lee didn’t f*** with that.

Yea but what was the whole riff between them

Swerve in particular seemed off that whole press conference.
