with or without a crowd that feud with Ogogo was a dud...by the time they had their match they basically had a full crowd again at DON and it still didn't land that well...and even his feud with Archer kind of fizzled out without the live crowd (I still remember that promo Jake cut on him being great)...I truly think the decision not to go for the world title anymore is what tied his hands and was a dumb decision to make not to mention losing to Jericho and then MJF back to back made him just look weak...of course just having the TNT title (at the time) wouldn't be enough for him...had he stuck around he'd have the ROH belts and the All Atlantic to go after and feud over too but that wasn't the case then...Cody floating around the midcard doing his own thing was just weird after he was presented as one of the top guys initially
