I do think WWE has the better women’s roster overall pretty easily, but AEW’s women’s roster is very good and in a much better state than it was

NXT is just their developmental brand and doesn't count as one of their main shows except for whenever they say otherwise

Hence why "going to the main roster" is still treated like a big deal or something just like Athena being back on AEW was welcomed even though she's been holding it down in ROH for 2 years

I’ve never brought up ratings in here but if NXT getting more views than AEW, I think you gotta consider it a real brand. ROH hidden behind a paywall. I don’t think those two things are comparable

I'll sound tribalist in saying this but the CW NXT rating being better is 100% because it's on a channel that any tv in the country can access, but your point is right

There was a time when NXT was behind a f***in paywall too and ppl still said it was the best wwe show

Still had people talking bout "when they get to the main roster though" too which means they put more value in being on those other shows than NXT...it's their developmental brand except for when they try to compete with AEW then suddenly you got Undertaker showing up giving advice to random mfs

I don’t keep up with ratings but I do remember they had a bump in ratings after the move so that makes sense

I don’t think anybody has ever said “ROH is AEW best show!” Which furthers my point in those two shows being different things. You are literally the only person in the thread that watches that show weekly.

ROH definitely not their best show currently...around the end of 2023 you could make an argument if you were actually watching instead of just making snarky comments on a message board (not a shot at you specifically btw)

As someone who doesn’t romanticize Black n Gold era NXT, I do think a BIG difference between a paywalled current ROH vs a paywalled Black n Gold was the quality of talent featured at the top

Like I thought Joe and Nak’s runs stunk, but they had bigger names

Mind you NXT actually has an identity/brand/roster while nuROH is just rebranded AEW Dark
