Barnett right now
I wonder if she was going for Power Girl

Don't know if this was posted earlier but this makes things like Fenix being put in contractual jail make sense
mjfs was pretty f***ing bad
i think they failed on the story due to a culmination of things (punk+adam cole) but i think mjf had some good matches before his title reign (i.e. punk feud plus darby at full gear) and his contentions were entertaining before all in london and the jay white s***.

And for him to say this means something, he usually keeps s*** like this close to his chest
He alluded to this before in a media scrum when the fed just got AAA and he was basically saying it's good for the sport (just like the the fed building shows last min around AEW shows in the same town)
He speaks from a bussiness mind but also he truly knows what it is, and you see his ties.

The Dragon Lee stuff with AAA/WWE is clearly a sore spot for him still
Shame bc I liked seeing Vikingo in AEW
This is a killer match
Glad to see them doing more with all these teams and hope the tag division in general is getting a revamp

I kind of hate this?
I know kayfabe is dead but like this just kills all the mystique. Not just for WWE but in general. It's like revealing Oz behind the curtain.
But also we all talk about dirtsheets and s*** on here so being against this seems kind of hypocritical. Maybe it's the factor of we don't really know so speculating off some reports is fun?
I think mainly its that the company themselves are putting this out that comes off wrong.

It's not the first peak behind the curtain series about wrestling by any means and I do think kayfabe is generally speaking not what it used to be but yeah if you give too much of a peak everything onscreen loses mystique and I think for younger audiences especially (which is a lot of their fan base in particular) it's important to maintain that

I think part of my issue with it is that its so recent. It's all stuff from the last 6 months.
So the AEW show for example, was kind of more following the wrestlers on the road. Which if that's what this was, it would feel better. This feels like that plus "this is how we put a match together" plus "this is how we book storylines"
I think going into the writers room is where it goes a stretch too far for me

Agreed...though as a writer myself part of me has always been interested in those aspects so I'm kind of torn
but yeah if you expose too much it takes away from the magic and suspension of disbelief...same problem WCW ran into when Russo was trying to blur the lines too much and had Goldberg "going against storyline" as an actual angle lol

Gives me Hard Knocks-vibes
Tho I haven’t watched any Hard Knocks series in many, many years lol
Mikey removed the album from Spotify and Apple Music
Last night after I listened to it, I was like “why did he not promote the album at all anywhere was this an accident” … I guess it was
I’m like this nigga ain’t make a single post about it. All he posted was a snippet of a song the other day. But the album was fire lmao

On Apple it said “released on October 2025”

Yeah I didn’t check the date. I just thought I missed a post about the album coming out so I went on his twitter and ig after listening and only saw the stuff I had already seen earlier in the day. That’s when I knew something was off
