Apparently JR was really grumpy about not calling the second half of Full Gear on his latest podcast with Conrad.
TBH I didn’t even notice he wasn’t there for the 2nd half until someone pointed it out after the PPV. And I think that’s because Excalibur, Taz and Tony have really found their groove as a three man booth. Their banter on air and during the commercials is top notch.
A lot of you don’t have FITE so you don’t have to hear how unbearable JR is becoming during the Rampage American broadcast commercials. A lot of it is him starting out of kayfabe rants about what performers should or shouldn’t be doing and other times it’s him shouting into the headset “PRONOUN BOY!!” which is followed by 5 seconds of awkward silence from the rest of the commentary booth.
I've been trying to take up for JR but,its time for him to call it quits,as far as commentary goes. He sounds exactly like an old man in the booth now lol
Bucks v Golden Lovers was good
Bucks got a lot of s*** beforehand for never telling a story or selling so they went super extra with it during that match lol
Indeed. They had some classics in NJPW during that time, and Kenny was his absolute best!
However, during that time the Shield were more influential or popular to the general public, and were honestly more entertaining to me. They were a breath of fresh air for a lot of people during the Cenawinslol era, and we knew that they were next up.

Yea it's time for JR to hang it up tbh. Schivone, Taz and Excalibur are the way to go.

Man,during the JB/Lucha Cage match at Full Gear,it sounded like JR randomly screamed "Son Of A B****!"and everyone in the room with me did not know WTF he was getting at,including me lmao

"More influential or popular to the general public" ....nigga you know that's cap lmao no one knew ANYONE from WWE at that time, I'd argue more people know the roster now (not by much) cause of the celebrity part timers and Sasha's visibility in outside media than did during 2010's WWE.
But them Bullet Club t shirts were EVERYWHERE (granted some didn't know what it was) but to pretend ANYONE, let alone The Shield, was a crossover star for WWE then is LUDICROUS

General public, not hardcore wrestling marks such as us.
Folks like my uncles (who when I mentioned and showed them BC thought they were cosplaying NWO
) and some of my friends that only watched WWE had no idea who tf The Bullet Club was.lmao
stop that.
The popularity of Bullet Club really didn't pop off for mostly everyone until about 2015/2016 ish. The Shield, Cena, Dwayne and CM Punk were the talk of discussion among the general audience in 2012-2014.

You said general public, not WWE watchers lmao
If you watching wrestling, you not the general public. If you're the "general public", you're probably a well adjusted adult not addicted to this bafoonishness

In which folks "who only watched WWE" made up of about 75% of the general wrestling audience at that time.lmao
And you absolutely know this, especially from 2011-2014, especially in the states.lol

Idk what metrics we even talking anymore. All I know is they weren't enough to keep me from quitting wrestling and that later era BC run got me back into wrestling. Like what you like
Bullet Club was and is insanely popular.
The Elite reaped the benefits of that by being associated/members with/of BULLET CLUB lol

Yup lol. That just happened to have been around the peak of Bullet Club’s popularity and the Elite ate off it cuz NJPW started having merch in hot topic etc lol.
Jay Whitoooo as leader tho > Kenny as leader for me
Elite nerd humor is the worst.
I used to like BTE but that s*** does not translate to TV at all. It’s corny lol
