As for Cena idk if it’s because of the culture shifting or what but it really didn’t make a difference how people viewed him, they probably loved him more if anything else

Cena's was poorly executed plain and simple...the turn itself was dope but the follow up was a mess and the explanation for turning him back babyface was even dumber...yeah Dwayne dipping had a lot to do with that but they still could have done better with it...reminds me of when Austin turned heel and joined McMahon after Wrestlemania 17...a shocker initially but the follow up just didn't work
