That first iteration of Smackdown was so good, from the aesthetics to the way the show was booked. Think I'm going to watch a couple 99 Smackdowns before All Out tonight

98-99 and then 01 was my favorite years of wwf I think...00 was aight too

Grew up on mostly RAW IS WAR because back then, for whatever reason, everyone in my area didn't have UPN at the time. Watching Smackdown was kind of a special occasion for awhile. I do remember catching replays of SD on Sunday nights at like 11pm back then on my local FOX station back then. fun times

I strictly watched wcw until around 00-01 but I went to rent the tapes of those 98-99 ppvs at that time and they were a blast lol even some of 97 too though I think WCW had the better 97 up until the Starcade debacle and NWO Souled Out

02-05 is what I really grew up on. You really can't understand why Brock Lesnar is such a legend unless you grew up during those times.

I didn't grow up on WCW at all lol. I do remember them running commercials for PPV and Nitro throughout the week on Turner channels. Something AEW was doing at the very beginning.
