Impact lost Josh Alexander and Mickie James to injury right before a PPV. Holy s*** talk about bad luck
Damn
I would like to see Kairi work some of the AEW girls but I feel like sheβd get lost in the shuffle
On the other hand would Paul do an Asuka vs Kairi program? Would he put the strap on Kairi?
She's getting lost in the shuffle either way. WWE women aren't that much in a better position, and I don't trust AEW's booking.
But if I had to choose, I would choose AEW or Impact because of the working relationship w/ NJPW.
This drama is ridiculous, and like most stories, the truth is somewhere in the middle. The build to that match especially with the quick squash didn't make any sense, and from what I remember, kind of killed the hype for the match.
Doing the Rocky 3 thing of antagonist squashes hero, hero must now build themselves back up is not a bad motif, but you need time to do it. I think there was a week from that match to the PPV and all I could take from it was the squash seemed like a waste of time. I do believe punk is right in that Jericho is a stooge, and we know Meltzer will present any dirt from the perspective of his sources (Jericho in this case). Mox has never had the reputation of not doing business. I think the only angle he was known for not wanting to lose was to Nia Jax, and thats because Vince wanted to bury him on his way out. In this case, Mox didn't want to lose the squash because the story doesn't work if Punk wins. Obviously Mox was fine to return the favor at the PPV. He has plenty of friends at WWE that would vouch for him as well.
This whole build, the brawl out, the way Khan handled the Colt situation, he now strikes me as the meddling owner of a sports franchise that won't let the GM or coach do their jobs. In this case, TK needs a GM and a coach. He's a disaster so far and can't get out of his own way.
This s*** is even worse looking back now
niggas literally did this just to do it

These takes are for the most part spot on. Mox def didn't have any ill intentions. Jericho is a POS and a liar, Meltzer is a big time liar and a mark, and TK not only doesn't have the balls to do what's needed, he's definitely a people pleaser. To be fair, he did give the EVP's opportunity to do their thing early on, and it was lowkey a terrible idea, which is why he took their booking power away. But he needs someone with experience, that's not talent, to be the GM. But he does (now) have a tendency to micromanage.
just when the vibe was shifting, meltzer had to dig out some s*** that happened over six months ago?

he really set s*** back, I'm hot
To be fair, Punk was never actually the man during this time period either

Niggas never cared about Jericho the way they cared about Punk
Punk sold out a 20k arena just to announce his return. They donβt love Jericho like that lol
Punk having that rumored AEW office job makes you wonder a lot more about Jerichos agenda here πππππ

he really set s*** back, I'm hot
And its the same inarticulate s*** you have to read twice to really understand the point of
what was even the relevance smh
ive never seen rocky and i burn bridges with those closest to me
cm punk will always be my goat
Personally think Jericho has nothing more to offer to AEW. In the beginning, sure. Now they are much more established. He should either leave or be kept off screen and use his 30+ years of knowledge to those backstage.

Bucks/Jericho feeding info to Meltzer to keep him out it sounds like

She should go to impact tbh, WWE women's roster is stacked and stale. AEW's isn't much better.
