I don’t see a reason for them to NOT leave at this point, they basically took every revenue source away from them plus they scrubbed them off their TV intros.

Not to mention, despite being independent contractors, are barred from doing outside work and getting other streams of revenue

Colt Cabana hasn’t been on the show for a while as he is earmarked for the ROH group if and when that starts. This may be in some form be related to his issues with C.M. Punk. Cabana was signed to a new contract which was pushed for by Matt & Nick Jackson, and worked the ROH PPV show, but has not been at any of the AEW tapings since his new deal was signed.

Looks like that might have been what Page was alluding to in terms of the IRL stuff with Punk that Meltzer and Alvarez brought up.

Perhaps in Adam’s mind he thinks Punk is full of s*** behind the curtain talking about supporting your co-workers but also getting Colt pushed out of AEW and off to ROH.

Meltzer noted about Omega returning to AEW shows backstage and mentioned that “in hindsight the travel was too early for the healing needed for his injuries”. It was added that, as a result of this, Omega will NOT be at Double Or Nothing this weekend.

He then went on to add that:
Omega did say that the parts of his body that are healthy he is able to train well and is pushing himself harder every week. Other parts the healing is slow. He said he’s resigned to the fact that physically he will never be 100 percent, but he is looking at reversing some of the physical damage and being able to return and this time off and fixing up his different injuries would extend his time as an effective pro wrestler.

People need to stop fantasy booking Kenny at Forbidden Door. At this point, with him currently realising he’s not even physically ready to travel and produce, we’ll be lucky to see him back by the first quarter of 2023.

Dude needs to rest up from his surgeries and not rush back.
