There's defo more to this story. You don't go from being mad about communication to cussing out your boss and quitting the entire industry in a weekend
Lol it is what it is. Gresham would have never been champ if ROH wasn’t in the state that it was pre-TK buying the company.
ROH essentially died once AEW was started and was revived when TK bought it

Sinclair killed ROH. They botched that whole company. You can’t blame AEW for ROHs mistakes. ROH depended too much on the NJPW relationship to draw a crowd. Sinclair didn’t give a s*** about wrestling, if they did they wouldn’t of put it on local tv networks at 2am. It’s a damn shame they didn’t invest more into the company because they most likely would of been where AEW is today.

Idk bout all that. Even the last "glory period" of ROH was just hella mid, the Bucks/Bullet Club running rampant leaning into their meta BTE s*** (which even TK reigned in when he took over booking in late 2019) and everyone waiting for NJPW guys to come through
Even the Steen/Generico era is marred by Cornette's Neo-SMW booking
Update
According to Fightful Gresham asked for his release from ROH/AEW and cussed out TK
• Gresham is done with wrestling for the foreseeable future after this month
He knows there's nowhere to go being 5'1"

Tbh it's more his attitude and his wife's white savior mama bear routine
Rey tiny too but he's also one of the best luchadors of all time

Look at how ROH lost a bunch of its top stars due to WWE purging half their talent. If they had a much better backing, I’m almost positive they would of stuck around. Sinclair had all the tools in setting up ROH to be bigger than it was. The money and the amount of networks behind them. It took them years to even get an upgrade on lighting and etc.
Wise words from the first IWGP IC Champ
This sounds stupid to me but am i tripping?
https://twitter.com/wrestlepurists/status/1550894720452333569Like I’d rather the champion be entertaining and not a f***ing snooze fest when not wrestling
