Boy was I wrong, I didn’t really ever bother to check out Great O Khan. I figured he was a silly wrestling character from his tweets that I’ve seen on the internet. Yet this match with Sanada completely changed my opinion on him. He also has a legit background in grappling. Which is a huge plus for me.

felt that the way wardlow squashed him. That story deserved a better match so it was really odd. but then they had him do the promo with Punk trying to talk to him as he walked out so it's just confusing

also lowkey feel it has affected wardlow not having MJF to work off of immediately after his breakthrough moment

There was clearly IRL issues with Max and Tony leading all the way up to DoN.

Then Max takes his ball and goes home only to get flown in last minute to the LA Forum show where he cuts that promo which is likely Tony and him coming to some sort of parlay where Max can write himself off the show. I think the Punk thing was probably on the fly in the hopes that if they could keep him around that they could build a title program off that.

Wardlow was always gonna be hurt going from MJF to anybody else. But if they give him the Cody open challenge gimmick and have him have great matches every two weeks or so then he’ll be cool. The OC match was a great start.

Punk v Kingston at Grand Slam would be great. Kingston beats Punk for the title. Massive crowd celebration just for MJF to run in and beat the ever living s*** out of AEWs most currently loved wrestler would get some nice heat. Kingston drops the title to MJF at Full Gear.

I know it’s fantasy booking but I think if done right it could put this whole MJF/TK beef to another level LOL.
