Hardwork and the grind are what build character though and what you get out of them last you all your life. No way to cheat get them too.
Nothing is promised in this life and all you have is yourself. Making yourself the strongest and most resilient leverages your chances against all setbacks better than anything.
Spending everyday pursuing what you want maybe furfilling but there's no guarantee you'll be awarded for it. But you'll feel atleast your on a road for your passion.
In contrast
Spending everyday/lot working hard, you're 100% rewarding yourself always. Maybe you forget the dream or og purpose with time and it passes you by though.
But you see that's why you need both.
A life 100% only doing what you want is a life lived selfishly imo

I am in agreement with most of what u just said a life of hedonism is a life of perversion. We must all find our purposes, it's sad to see a lot of people settle because they are scared to follow their dreams.
