Fr this guy is hella underappreciated. One of the only reviewers I know that dives really deep into what the artist does and how he's been personally moved by the music. Very cool reviewer.

It's super subjective but always interesting to hear another guy's opinions, even if some of them are a little out there haha.

The Jail guitar Donda flew over my head

  • Just finished, he comes with some dope takes and it’s refreshing to hear him just give an opinion and not just trash something. His reviews are great.

He says this is just a draft so should I expect a more developed review soon? i hope.. this was a brilliant insight

Like 12 minutes in and this man is hitting it on the f***ing nose. Brain Eno talks about the “Sensius” which is the death of the “geniuses” is ultimately the idea of collaboration. And that Smile shout out / a***ogy is hard. I remember when a good friend showed me that album the first time. Can’t wait to finish

  • Damn dog you got me blushing😗. I love Kanye praise

Smile is one of my favorite albums (Pet Sounds is my favorite), so when he brought it up, it all really clicked for me

I was a lil taken aback with that comparison but i see where hes coming from. Personally i think SMILE is literally unfinished and all over the place (still one of the greatest pieces of art ever made). I think donda is a more or less “refined” version of the clutteredness of TLOP

@Fantasy finally got around to watching this. Definitely one of the best reviews I’ve ever seen period. This guy’s a f***ing GOAT.

It’s badass how he said Pet Sounds is his favorite album. I like that album too. Top 10.

Great summary of who he is and why he got on YouTube. Super genuine stuff here.

I’m watching and stopping to listen to songs again to try and get on his level. I had no idea in Jail the background was donda distorted.

His reviewing philosophy is being positive. Might not dig the album very much but there's probably still stuff he likes on it.

Crazy he thinks Kanye is more important than Picasso. I’d like to hear him explain that. My theory is it’s because music and fashion are more important than paintings and sculptures; especially, music.

You’re stuck on a desert island and can have any Kanye album to listen to or any painting from Picasso to stare at.

Which one do you choose? (rhetorical)
