Playing this through ps plus. Got ray tracing on but not really impressed with the graphical fidelity lots of pop in and idk character models and environments seem weak

Writing is pretty cringe and the VA either isn’t good or is doing the best she can with the weak dialogue but it’s literally an American Isekai game lmao sticking with it

Pacing on this is a little weird but this ain’t bad magic is fun but it takes a long ass time before you even get your second branch of power

Movement and combat are def the highlights. It’s fun

Just beat it in 21 hours lol yeah pacing was weird, feels like it needed another act or 2. Like especially in the beginning you meet a character and it feels like they kill them off for drama the very next time you see them should’ve given more interactions or some meaningful side quests with any of the NPCs tbh

Didn’t feel compelled to explore all that much either which is too bad. World was pretty but kinda forgettable.

Decent 7.5/10 they could’ve cooked more, feel bad for the fans knowing it won’t get any kind of sequel I think they could’ve done a lot with the setting and built a more compelling world in a sequel. Also can only imagine how crazy they could’ve gone with the magic system in a sequel given how solid this one was.

Didn’t feel too different from a final fantasy story, including the cringe. I enjoyed the American isekai experience lmao
