I read this book a while ago after seeing so much praise for it. And I thought it was such a bore, lol. I could see the movie being better for me because they will certainly not dive into the physics and science so much.

Am I the only one that did not f*** with the book?? It felt like I was reading the author stroke his intellectual ego the whole time 😭

What’s the TONE? Like did it need to be the funny guys making this?

Heard good things about the book. It was recommended to me by a few people after finishing The 3 Body Problem series. Heard it’s similar vein of “hardcore” sci-fi as 3BP. So I’m looking forward to this. I’ll probably end up reading the book before this is out though.

It’s definitely got a lot of humor in it

finished the book the other day and i already want to re-read it and maybe listen to the audiobook version which i've heard is incredible

very rare that i actually laugh out loud at books/ get emotional but this one really hit all the right notes.

even more excited for the movie now after reading this, there is gonna be some beautiful scenes in this one.
