Everyone would approach it in completely different ways, and ultimately, it would all be edited by Kanye himself. In a weird way, he kind of produced it. Not only did he select it, but he stylized it.

yes sir ye and jik underrated too, those albums have their own unique theme and narrative arc like any Kanye album. the worst you can accuse him of is not trying, he still knows how to do every job in the studio

Ye probably told Boogz what drums to use, arranged the song etc. he's definitely less hands on but he still contributes to the final product even if its just telling others what to do
If we're gonna hound people for not being hands on in the studio then we should start s***ting on Quincy Jones too cause he never played an instrument on all the MJ classics and instead just told others what to do and he's renown as the greatest producer of all time
