Youre gonna get a ps5 eventually and the price won’t even be any cheaper, all you’re doing now is playing games with worse graphics and frame rate for no reason

PS5 pro may come by that time and plus premium catalog only going to get better. The logic of rushing to get a xbox series x or ps5 right now isn't sound. I say this as someone with a ps5. The games themselves will get cheaper, get more updates, next gen patches. Neither console has a must play day 1 experience right now (and thats okay). They will in time

Also I had a p5 before (sold cuz paperweight) and didn’t notice a large difference in graphics. I will say frame rate was a bit better tho

Don't have any console or gaming PC atm tho. Was going to build a PC but decided to wait until I can afford a higher end one, so settled on PS5.
I know the slim is coming out next year, so I feel like if I buy the OG now, it will lose considerable value by the time the Pro comes along.
