ohhhh well if i sell mine that i just got 3 months ago for $500 CAD, i can then afford a PS5 Pro easily and i only have one TV and one monitor in my lil downtown apartment lol no need for two PS5s

there's no debate - u cant find a $699 USD computer build that comes close to the PS5 Pro

that's the point of game consoles

however i spent $677 after tax a few months ago and now i'm paying over $1000 for the Pro

A 300$ device solely to game and watch movies with the expectations of high quality I’m not talking sims or a basic game

700$ just to game in a computer and bluray is very comparable to a pc that allows more is what I’m getting at. My whole computer was 1000 open box had it for 2 years . 2 years of not paying for plus , using Microsoft office , mods , clear performance is a better value

The idea that pc gaming is more expensive is false . This is a laptop . If someone were to build their own or have a prebuilt or open box they could get a VALUE. But if media and other gamers like “ omg you can get such a better deal with ps5 pro “ they never even look into it

The reality is some people just don’t rate “value” as high as others. Some people just want what they want and like the ecosystem they like and that’s that. That doesn’t make them idiots imo. The iPhone is a s***ty value proposition but I’m sure the majority of us are using one rn.

then again a lot of these ppl live their lives thinking they are one of the few that has this sacred knowledge of how much "better" PC gaming is. a large consumer base does not care to engage with PC as their gaming ecosystem.

I think my problem with that is that everyone has to be vocal about how Sony is making the wrong move. (which is happening) Otherwise companies are going to see Sony's success and try to replicate it.
