I know for me, I still have a bunch of PS4 games on disc and I have a few PS5 games on disc. I also use my PS5 as a blu ray player

So a disc drive being separate is a big no for me

Having some "ownership," physical collections, or sometimes physical games are cheaper

I love first world problems so much

Yesterday it was Apple dropping the same phone and today it's Sony not including a disk drive

Pretty dramatic. End of the day this is an optional enthusiast item not something necessary.
