First Criterion I ever bought
classic film
i always randomly think about the plotline with the pudding cups and airline miles
This is probably the movie that taught me how to craft an anxiety ridden scene without having any physical threat present.
The scene where he’s at work and the s***scammers keep calling, while his sister is nagging him and his crush is there, while also his co-workers are completely f***in up the job site. S*** had so much going on at once.
Only 20 years?
ONE OF THE GREATEST FILMS OF ALL TIME
THAT SCORE
BARRY EGAN
THE SUIT
THE SCENE WHERE HE KICKS THE GLASS DOOR
SHUT SHUT SHUT SHUT SHUT UP
Moment of respect for Phillip Seymour Hoffman
THE SCENE WHERE THE PHONE BOOTH LIGHTS UP
SHE NEEDS ME SHE NEEDS ME SHE NEEDS ME
PTA IS THE 🐐
My favorite filmmaker

Adam randomly dancing in the supermarket >>>>>>>>>
Still don’t know what official condition that man had or why he was randomly dancing but that s*** was goat lmaooo
I watched this last year for the first time and I had these crazy expectations about how amazing it was gonna be considering all the praise.
Unfortunately it didn't click with me back then so much, it was good but not that good.
Due for a rewatch tho
PTA really needs to make another contemporary piece, he hasn’t done one since this and Magnolia
