Coke rap is a well established tradition in hip hop that allows for a real test of a rapper's lyricism. To be able to rap about the same subject for two decades and keep it fresh shows a unique gift. Plus it's a great backdrop for life's real-world drama--rags to riches, watching your friends turn to snitches, etc. Same reason gangster movies are some of the best cinema ever.

Perhaps the new Drake record is a better fit for you? It's very safe, has lots of corporate-approved lyrics, and will not confuse your white friends.

Dude is 45 and can’t let go of peaking in his teens. A lot of “traditions” in rap are dated

Yeahhhh Pusha T subject matter is repetitive. But like, name me 1 bad Pusha T album.

He always finds new phrases and metaphors to talk about the same thing

Most rappers rap about the same s*** with the same overused rhymes

    So you agree?

i care music being good, you can't name a rapper that doesn't revisit certain subjects and themes in some way shape or form. And the crazy thing is Push has dropped songs that had nothing to do with d*** dealing before, so the criticism just seems lazy to me but to each their own

Revisit is different than repeating the same subject every song.

Why we comparing Pusha T and Drake?

We got Drake for the soccer moms and Pusha for the hip hop heads

Thats not true because Em fell off in 2003 while Pusha T had stayed consistent forever.
