1. When Pusha announced Hear Me Clearly, he followed it with the release date and title of Nigo’s album. If it was a single for It’s Almost Dry, it would’ve been announced as such.

2. In that same post, he included the story of Pharrell hearing the song and giving Pusha the “mixtape rapper” criticism, then proceeds to say that him and Pharrell started working on the other half of the album after that interaction. This implies that what Pharrell told him about the song made him change his mind about it being on the album and he decided to give it to Nigo instead.

3. There have been two confirmed singles for the album, and they’ve both had distinct artworks that tie them together. The artwork for Hear Me Clearly was the Polaroid picture aesthetic that Nigo did for the other 5 singles on his album, and the song was released as “Pusha T & Nigo”, even though Nigo had zero involvement in the creation of the song.

It’s not crazy to believe that Hear Me Clearly isn’t on the album and that Pusha was just referencing the fact that it was recorded during the sessions with Ye.
