yeah it doesn't sound like him at all. and it's great. tbh though I don't get why people get annoyed at him using some of the same tricks. That's his sound. Same way Dreaming of the Past instantly sounds like Ye.

That being said just being honest I feel like Pharrell has lost his way a little over the last few years. There's exceptions like Stir Fry. But when I hear a lot of what he did on the Nigo album it sounds so lacking in vision/direction/character which is never something he used to struggle with even when I didn't like the direction.

Nah I agree in certain aspects. The thing is with Pharrell is that he's great but in his prime a good chunk of his best s*** was with Chad, who had no involvement on some of his recent work. Idk why either, they work great together

This is much stronger. Partly because he seems back in his comfort zone. Maybe Push brings Ye/P back to their OG sounds because he's stuck to his vision his whole career lol. Most artists can't get away with it but it sounds so authentic coming from Push

Diet Coke sounds like 10 times better on the album flow holy f***
