Really wish he replaced some of those joker laughs with his Yeugh but aside from that not many complaints

I would’ve loved to hear an expanded version of what Ye was doing though

I appreciate the effort Pharrell puts behind his songs. You can tell he has influence on the bounce and vocal arrangement in his records. One thing that lowkey bothered me was his drums. He used the same kit on every song man. That’s always gonna throw me off lol Push sound with Ye is more sinister imo. Harder drums/melodies fr

Maybe I’m biased bc Ye my favorite artist lol that sound is just heavy and we don’t get it much from artists outside the underground. I know s*** like Hear Me Clearly isn’t as “left field” as some of Push other production choices and it’s not my favorite song but the sound is hard to me. Surprisingly I ran that a lot before the album dropped

With that said Let The Smokers Shine The Coupes is still my favorite beat up here and I feel like it’s bc it sounds so much like something Ye woulda killed back in the day

I had a feeling that was the case, I didn’t get why everyone was assuming that was the artwork and that he changed it last minute
