Beans vs Jada is probably the most goated battle to me personally. I probably give it extremely slightly to Beans but it’s so close and competitive but also had stakes and real animosity.

Drake and his stans ruined mainstream rap battles, now you risk being sued and having an army of stans crying about how the deep state fixed it

50 Cent/New York being fake asf versus Ja Rule had SEVERELY distorted the way people view rap battles.

Most rap battles dont end careers. New York deciding to turn their backs on Ja Rule is an exception not the norm.

That was an interesting one. 50 was in the middle of his peak when he was beefing with ja. While he had in da club & the massive hype and love around get rich album, he was dropping ja disses in the middle of it all. He had ja disses way before he was mainstream & he kept going at him to the point he made it seem like ja’s career was over. That album & the singles gave him leverage.

At the time it seemed like everyone turned on ja but in the Twitter era, lot of fools wanna switch up by saying ja had better records lol

he aint tell one lie, cant say that im surprised by his stance

  • Dec 6, 2025

Pusha too hard for him to only make noise when talkin bout The Boy

  • TDUB701

He must have been feeling invincible I totally forgot HE was the one to diss everyone else on aftermath like why wtf

For a long while murda incs strategy was to ignore 50 completely and just make hits how do you go from that to dissing ALL of aftermath when all he had backing him up was black child what did he expect to happen

Facts you only dissed because 50 wasn’t the small rapper you can ignore anymore that nigga was running the underground and signed with the biggest label ja knew he was in trouble lmao

It was destined on a meta level, both the biggest direct descendants of Pac post-death; one evoking that on a surface level and the other evoking that more pathologically. It’s like the two big Hov x Wayne descendants having the biggest beef since Pac and Big

If you go to another genre, it’s why Taylor vs Billie is such a natural idea for people in theory and in practice as they’re both descended from Avril with close pop proximity to Lana

Edit: MJ and Prince’s artistic rivalry and James Brown

“the literal revelation that Drake was hiding a child 😂”

Maybe don’t hide a child and talk crazy about people?

Niggas just supposed to ignore obvious flaws during a rap battle for what?

Pusha executed that diss meticulously. The Black face cover, OJ sample tying to drakes character of self hate and black identity to ruining a potential Adidas Collab. He had the boy scrambling and sending an apology note on insta to crying in interviews talking about letting lebron down but yeah "all he did was reveal a child"
