    Pusher Tea strikes again

That's my point. Jim never said Push wasn't nice with it. He just said he doesn't consider him a top 50 rapper of all time and stated his reasons why. Maybe how he said it while laughing/cracking jokes and s*** seemed like a diss but he wasn't dissing, just stating his opinion (which he did on several other rappers, not just Push).

He has no reason to respond to Push on a song and that's why I said he can just go do some more press and talk s*** about Push and keep it moving and leave Push there to continue with his faux Boogeyman raps. This isn't a Drake situation where Push has anything to gain like clout or mainstream notoriety. No one gonna care about this ''beef.'' (If it happens) it'll be two men pushing 50 going at each other.

It's also funny Push did the predictable thing and said Jim is looking for a feature from Drake. Jim been cool with Drake for years now. If he wanted a feature, he'd have probably gotten one just off respect. I've never heard Jim even suggest that he wants a Drake feature before, especially not on his last press run. Niggas think that every OG who shows Drake loves is chasing a feature when that's rarely ever the case lol. It just seemed to me that Jim and 'em really appreciated the gesture Drake did at the Apollo and are showing that love back just as publicly as Drake did. Nothing more.

people will care about this beef for multiple reasons. one reason being it would involve two well established borderline mainstream veteran rappers who are both respected for their pens. another reason to see if Push vs Drake was a fluke. also its been a while since a good rap beef.

also there are plenty of people cool with or respect Drake that haven't gotten a feature that probably should have one

He never said he wanted to diss Push lmao. He said s*** about several rappers that they could have taken as disrespect but clarified he was just giving his opinion. What makes y'all think he was ever doing any of that to trade disses back and forth with any of them?

the first time he said something wasn't seen as disrespect but when he's saying I bet you can't name let alone rap along to 5 solo Pusha T songs and questioning his catalog when Push arguably has a wayyy better catalog than Jimmy is hilarious. Nigga went on a whole press run giving slight disses here and there and its not supposed to be seen as disrespect?

Now take this exact post/logic and replace it with Drakes response to control. Pretty convenient that you can use logic to explain this away. Explain that away now.m
This sounds like exactly what Kendrick did yet your guy didn’t perceive it as such.

It’s almost like being a rapper they know the rules are different.

right cause Control wasn't even a diss to who was named. kendrick named his direct competition and those whose work he respected and wanted to bring the competition aspect back to rap. The diss was to who wasn't named.

even Krit noticed it and said this
"All this attention, I don't even know what I might even do with it
That Control beat is like an ugly b**** that everybody done f***ed raw
    Maybe you hit it
Aww man, I'm more concerned why niggas been textin' my cell, callin' my phone
Ask me about this Kendrick s***, that he ain't even really even diss me on"

and when King Los dropped his version of Control saying THIS?! (see below) all that s*** should have been deaded

"Much higher my type of talent requires special attention
Kendrick I think you genius, J. Cole got these niggas worried
Big K.R.I.T. is a southern killer, Wale is a visionary
Pusha been pushing so long he truly defines a hustler
Meek did his time like a G, came back home and shined on them suckas
A$AP mastered the facets of fashion
Snatching the essence of brandin' his whole fam and a no man demanding a presence
This nigga Drake nice on the mic and act
So many hits he f***ed around and brought light skin back
And Big Sean you did it, you really did it, no bullshitting
You putting the D on I could see the future, no Warwick
Get it? Dion Warwick, I went to war with critics like Jay Elec'
I let him see my exhibit, get it? Exhibit C
I exquisitely make a segue down to Tyler, my future's odd, I salute you dog
Mac Miller, young white boy track killer, gotta feel that
I think real rap back, nigga"

What was wrong with Drake's response to Control? He did an interview and got asked about it and answered. He never even dissed Kendrick in the interview. He said he knows Kendrick is a generational talent and that his next album will be great but he also said he knew that Kendrick did what he did because he was trying to give fans a moment.

    Watch again:

He also said he almost lost respect for the sentiment of the verse because Kendrick saw him a few weeks later and acted all buddy buddy and that surprised him because he thought Kendrick was really about it based on the energy he had on the verse and many rappers felt the same way when Kendrick did press later that year/2014 and was copping pleas talking about ''I just wanted to shake the game up a lil'' after like 100 rappers responded with diss tracks More than anything, Drake, like most rappers, was just annoyed that the verse was getting as much attention as it did and people wouldn't stop asking them about it when Kendrick wasn't really on that energy in real life.

Even J. Cole expressed annoyance at the Control verse and sent shots at Kendrick but y'all always somehow manage to forget that lmao.

Drake dissed back on the language and SH!T remix furthering the moment. kendrick did the BET Cypher and responded on Pay For It by Jay Rock around the same time Drake responds on 100 by Game. Kendrick responded on Darkside/Gone and Deep Water by Dre.

The mob boss drake should be the last person to worry about if someone “is really with it” irl

Now you're just being stupid. Your point is that Drake dissed Kendrick/Drake wasn't meant to be upset at that verse and I'm saying that's a silly thing to suggest because many rappers responded in songs/interviews, expressing their disgust/annoyance at the song, especially when Kendrick proved he wasn't really about it when diss tracks got sent his way in response.

You acting like Drake should have held hands with Kendrick and braided his hair after that s*** proves you don't know s***. Imagine doing that in 2003 or 1993. Kendrick might have gotten attacked in real life. That's how serious s*** got if you mentioned a nigga's name on a record back then. Now, you're suggesting Drake shouldn't have felt a way about it when J. Cole did a whole verse expressing the same sentiments

MOST RAPPERS especially those from NY got upset that Kendrick same Im the KING OF NY if you listened to most of the responses to Control you'd know that. ironically he was quoting Kurupt when he said that line.

    The Krab Season

This poster really believes cole was pissed about the Kendrick verse that he became an loser on the track crying and saying he will knock the bish out? I'm done

ironically it went with the theme of the song

How did he insult him, though? He stated facts and he insisted they were his opinion. Again, Jim said several times that Pusha is a crazy dope rapper for what he does but Jim's perspective was considering his mainstream standing and to him, there are 50 mainstream rappers who rapped well but also had more impact, success, dominance culturally, etc than Pusha did. That's not an insult imo.

    name the 50
