He should have become a rapper. He sound very good on each of this track. Each of the sound have soul in them when you listen to it.

i disagree. prince’s rapping isn’t bad per say, but he definitely just didn’t really fit the sound if you ask me

p**** control is the only time where i really like it, but its more just for the entertainment factor/funny lyrics rather than thinking hes actually rapping well. and it kinda feels more like a funk vocalist leaning into the side of rapping then him doing more of a straight up pure rap attempt, idk. i guess thats more his approach in general though, like just adapting the more rhythmic vocals of something like Housequake into rapping instead of just sitting down and writing a verse with a bunch of rhymes and s***

id definitely take more prince struggle bars instead of Tony M struggle bars on those few albums, dude was so f***ing terrible

yeah housequake is definitely a fun little banger, it’s interesting you put it that way to not take it as serious makes more sense to think of it that way, the one exception that i take where i think he actually rapped pretty decently was my name is prince for sure

yeah the hook is a little bit overwrought and it doesn’t exactly pay off when that f***ing idiot comes on to close out the song, but i think it’s fun up until that point
