WLR wasn't my first Carti project, So Die Lit.

I said it in another thread but Die Lit was really more of Carti x Pierre. The production is amazing and carti melds with it too, but WLR is him coming and showing that he himself can be an amazing artist without using production as a crutch

I liked WLR over die lit cause it was more interesting but die lit was more consistent

I prefer WLR because of the more aggressive energy. Die Lit is great too, but the vibes are more.. idk, light or whimsical (lmao) or some s***.

WLR is a major improvement in almost every way over die lit

You gotta also remember that Die Lit was the first Carti album for a lot of KTT users.

I think WLR has a stronger ending than die lit. The reason I say die lit is because the highs on that album is through the roof compared to WLR. WLR does show more variety and shows that carti can come with new sounds and sound just as good

i’d argue that Die Lit is far more repetitive than WLR

it’s basically all pierre beats that were looped every 4 bars and the song structures were super hook centric except for a few songs like Flatbed and Poke it Out
