He’s right. They are shoving s***in our face 24/7. (keeping us all in lower vibration/our lower nature)it’s constantly in our subconscious.

we have higher consciousness for a reason. S***isn’t bad. Our anatomy isn’t evil. But we are so much more than that. And that’s the reason the p***o music these labels are forcing women to do isn’t good either.

And for a city bus, that’s foul.
Kanye will save the industry with his positivity though. And Kendrick.

    Yeah that story probably it
I misremembered details cuz I heard about it years ago
Point is even those precious statues had to dress up for the right audience (I'm not saying that's right but it's not uncommon for art to be censored for a different audience)

that being said, ancient statues aren't viewed as video vixens today for number of reasons

First of all they have artistic merit put in by the artist : carving out marble or a painting that intricate deserves credit

secondly the aesthetic isn't calling back to p***ography (what us moderns consider p***ography, the images we directly associate with it, in ancient times those statues probably were considered p*** but to us they aren't anymore, this might happen to the video vixen style of sexual expression but it'll take time, like decades of centuries)

I'm not saying it's right but voilà

What type of disingenuous or disconnected from reality clown do u have to be to even bring up those statues

The conversation around them changed over the course of centuries, we're not at that level with rump shaking women for rappers art.... Yet

I get where you’re coming from. When they posted that I was more so thinking about a lot of sexuality in Greek art that is kind of normal to me. Mostly in images on Pottery and Roman stone iterations of surviving Greek sculptures. Since these things are up for people to see at the same time as this cover (they could take that bus to the museum for example) to me it’s two nude things existing at the same time with one being older. But yes it’s more than that.

I think since to me the artist that made it makes art in a fine art context, and ended up doing an album cover, it sits in both spaces.

I also think it’s important that you noted the conversation about them changed, because the racial angle that other user took had me thinking about how white marble statues were used to uphold and support aesthetic ideas related to white supremacy, when it fact those objects were painted in their time and the paint only faded. So the idea of something being respectfully nude is a figment since they were often nasty gaudy colors.

Last paragraph reminds me of a video Adamsomething recently did about those white statues that were actually painted and the convo around how it reinforces a white supremacist view of ancient Rome/Greece

Word 🤝I added some links to my post I’ve stuff I’ve read that were a reference to what I was saying. But I had to find them.

I was trying to give dude the benefit of the doubt but in the end the comment was flippant although I saw an angle.

It's different for black women when it comes to sexual related topics and their exploitation in mainstream media and irl

He probably made it racial cuz alot of qanon and trump supporters believe that their fight is also for the "betterment of black people" (imo cuz some fake woke grifters pandered to that community for clout, ie: young pharaoh's clown ass)

There surprisingly is overlap between some very conservative hoteps and trump supporters - when I watched young pharaoh his comments would be full of white people being like "thank u for doing the lords work blablaba" or "I'm white but I love ur channel" crine
Next thing u know he's proudly wearing Maga merch his subscribers send him

They don't believe they're racist but they actually are in a way

I do find it cringe when white people use that lingo tbh

That being said it's still embarrassing when a qanon guy is more offended at this than we are but that's just my personal opinion
