And yeah I understand that and it's so hard to find the right one because there are not that many of us, but I'll take it any day over feeling trapped in a hetero relationship. At least you can break out of that box once you know your partner better play around with gender roles because you both know gender roles are BS. What are the chances of doing that in a hetero relationship without creeping out your partner or having to break down how gender is just a construct?

I suppose I could go with someone but then it comes back to feeling inadequate because others look better than you.

I've only had one relationship so I don't have much experience with them or dating but I still know the ropes. I don't delve into that gender role nonsense because we're men and we should already know our place. Gays don't have to worry about it so much

Hmm... just don't limit yourself. I feel like maybe you're telling yourself too much what you can't do instead of looking at all the things you can do. There's a first time for everything, last year was only my 3rd pride, so you're not too far behind. Just find a random friend to go with by June/July or whenever it happens. There's still time.

You're right, there is still time. but tomorrow isn't guaranteed.. you can go at any moment. I mean look at what just happened to Kobe and his daughter.. rest in peace to the both of them. but at the same time, I'm not gonna let something that's inevitable (death) hinder me from living my life to it's fullest potential.

I use both.. Grindr more than Tinder. both suck. Tinder is supposed to be for dating but it's really just Grindr with a swipe system. Grindr is full of flakes, bots, queens who think they're entitled and racist white boys. Oh, and d*** addicts/plugs. SMH. The guys here don't even bat an eye at me.. nobody wants anything serious, they just wanna hookup. Too many guys in open relationships/marriages

It happens a lot on Grindr and it makes guys insecure about themselves because it makes them feel ugly and unwanted. One time a feminine guy wanted to get with me and I wasn't interested. He thought I thought he was ugly.. which wasn't the case. I was honest and told him he wasn't my type. He was real bitter about it
