Doesn't really seem like he did anything wrong. Seems like he just wanted to be on OVO

He even refused to write for Meek

Drama and Meek and whoever else was involved are the ones that should be looked at as shady

Alright everyone, I woke up too this and have seen way too much bullshit being said and absolutely NO one knows what they're talking about. So here we go.

    DRAKE DOES NOT HAVE GHOSTWRITERS.

Plain and simple. Now let's talk about the difference between Ghostwriting and Writing.

'Ghostwriting' (in terms of music) is the act of writing a verse/lines for an artist for songs without getting credit for it/maybe even accepting compensation for not speaking of it.

'Writing' (in terms of music) is simply writing a verse/lines/melodies for an artist and usually expecting to get credit for it as well as compensation.

    Now let's continue:

ALMOST EVERY ARTIST ACCEPTS WRITING FROM OTHER PEOPLE. This could mean full verses/a few lines/Melodies/samples ANYTHING. It happens. You're sitting in a studio recording with your entourage struggling to get that last rhyme/line in and one of your people suggests something dope so you incorporate it in the song. THATS WHAT YOUR PEOPLE ARE THERE FOR. You guys have no idea how many times Hush has given a smart/witty line or rhyme to Drake cause it made the song flow better, IT HAPPENS, and not ONCE did he NOT get credited for it.

NOW: Let's talk about Quentin Miller. I did my research on him when I first saw him getting flown out to YOLO Estate. Look at the IYRTITL credits. He is credited for 5 songs for writing. If you're credited on a song for writing you could have either wrote the full verse/given a few suggestions/OR have produced the song (most of the time the producers get credit for the writing portion too as respect). Now I can fully admit to you Quentin gave A LOT of lines/rhymes/hooks to those 5 songs, but full verses? No. Lol. But was he compensated for it and given credit, YES. So what is the big surprise here? His credits have been on there the whole time? People are making a big deal about this now because it's 2015 and Twitter and people don't care to do research beforehand. Drake has gotten SO MANY lines/rhymes from other people around him it's not even funny and if you're mad about that you have NO idea what goes on in the music industry. Hush & Kenza help Drake tremendously with song writing in terms of lines/rhymes and not one of you should care cause that what makes his music good, he's accepting of other people's help and not talking about the same s*** in every song like... Some rappers... Cough.

Which brings me to my next point:

MEEK: I'm a meek mill fan but what he tweeted last night will show you how immature and emotional he really is. fantastic freestyle/street rapper, one of the best out right now. I was so excited for his album, some of the songs are crazy. But ALL OF HIS LYRICS ARE THE SAME BECAUSE HE HAS NOTHING ELSE TO TALK ABOUT. Meek mill has stated he gets a bigger check than you in maybe 30+ songs. His lyrics will never stick with you and have those punch lines likes Drakes will.

So why did Meek tweet those things? Meek really tweeted that Drake didn't tweet about his album? Lol. Let's not forget when Wale didn't tweet about Meek's and this SAME thing happened. He blew him up on Twitter. There was no reason for Meek to blow Drake up on Twitter. Drake has done NOTHING but support that man about getting out of jail, tweeting about his support for him with his music. It's unreal to me that Meek would do this, he's the perfect example of not thinking before you speak. The song was Drakes to begin with. He personally handed Meek a hit song with an awesome verse (which might I say made the song a hit) and Meek has now ruined their complete relationship because he got jealous on the Internet and decided to spill the beans about Drake (which should've been known anyway if you check the credits).

Meek also went about this because Drake was not available to do a video for R.I.C.O and Meek was pissed. Yet Meek knows it's a hit song so he made it a single knowingly that he was mad at Drake already, and he wants to talk about being "real" 😒 lol.

Side Note: Meek knew about this whole "situation" (if that's what you want to call it) before the album even released (was already handed in though) AND he even continued to USE drake's name in interviews the get more hype about his album that he had him on there, again, he wants to talk about being "real" 😒. I know this for a FACT. We have been doing our research and making calls all morning.

The main reason I'm writing this is because some people just don't understand the truth and how things work. And truthfully Meek talks about being real and it annoys me to see how much Drake has supported him and now Meek has ruined that relationship.

At the end of the day, we all know who makes the better hits though and who makes the better music. Drake does nothing but support other artists and after everything they still find a reason to try and bring him down.

JAY Z predicted this all in his Light Up verse... It's time for Drake to realize everyone in this industry is fake. EVERYONE.

dont think anyone is blaming quentin, he was just a pawn that was sacrificed just to humble drake a bit and potential slow down his run.

wish him the best but at some point u have to move on from that story.

    Great post

In the other thread one of the main things I said was this really is much ado about nothing, and since Drake is such a behemoth, this is the only thing that could really bring his legacy down. Nothing else really to get em for.

Lame how he waited this long to confirm the Meek s*** when multiple people talked about this way back then. (Vlad mentioned this directly to QM and iirc he didn’t directly answer it) also his manager confirmed it too.
