If Push wouldn’t find new ways to talk about coke it would become tiresome. But he’s a perfect example of someone sticking to what he’s good at and being around long enough to master his craft. I gotta respect it

Tbh I think that alot of Tyler albums sound the same outside of Igor but he has his own sound. Don't really see people mention it, but Flower Boy and CMIYGL are kind of the same sound to me
Pretty much since Wolf he drops "Summer" / Artsy / Let's chill at the lake albums

This criticism is not even true for Tyler cuz right after Wolf he dropped Cherry Bomb which was a distorted & divisive album.
Flower Boy & CMIYGL don't even sound the same to me cuz CMIYGL he's taking more inspo from boom bap and s*** with tracks like Lumberjack, Sir Baudelaire & Manifesto.
And HHNF & Daytona are not even the same production wise, HHNF is peak 2000s Neptunes while Daytona is more in line with classic Kanye chops

Drake shows more versatility in his subject matter (most rappers do compared to Push tho) but the difference for me is that I keep returning to Pusha T projects in full whereas with Drakes recents efforts i just don’t feel like bumping them back to back no pun intended
At the end of the day it’s all preference and theyre in different lanes. Only get compared on here bc of the beef
