I was reading some reviews that the scenes with Rick Dalton and the young actress on set had pedophilloic undertones or were linked to Weinstein and I’m not sure if I’m tone deaf or if I completely misread those scenes but I didn’t get that at all.
Lmao am I wrong for taking those scenes on face value?
nah i didnt get that vibe either

Yeah I was taken aback reading that review lol
Wild. I loved the Western scenes.
To each their own I suppose. I know some reviewers didn’t care for Tarnatino’s homage to the late Golden Age either and that’s fair.
Don’t get me wrong I didn’t mind them and the actual “Leo acting” and messing up Scenes was fire, especially his trailer meltdown.
It just got a little slow during the long convo wit the little girl
Saw this drunk as s*** last night and I didn’t like it as much as I probably would if I was sober. I thought it was kinda messy and all over the place, and if it wasn’t for the feet shots you couldn’t tell it’s a Tarantino movie. I’m gonna rewatch it again soon

the convo with the young actress was one of the best scenes in the movie

I hate people
Seems people on the internet have a hard on for exposing pedophiles and willing to believe anything. Nothing about that scene was sexual you weirdos.

he calls her pumpkin puss which she calls him out on but that's mainly just to show that he's out of touch with the way the world is changing as that's a phrase that was used quite often in his time I'm sure...wasn't meant to imply he was creepin on her or anything and I didn't get that vibe at all from any of their scenes together so yeah definitely ppl grasping for straws as they have been since this movie was released

Crine people really digging their own graves says more about them
I just pulled up the movie to watch the Bruce Lee scene and the last scene as I am busy.
The last scene when the break down is hands down my favorite scene of this year in film.
"And he said he was the devil. And he was here to do some Devil s***. That's not verbatim"
And yes Tarantino put his foot fetish and pedophilia on display in the film
