Will soon be interviewing S1, the producer of ‘Power’ soon for the 10th anniversary of MBDTF. Figured we’d share the opportunity and ask if you had any questions for him?
Will post the interview here when it’s done!

Congrats bro!
Some questions:
1. How much more different was the original version of the beat and how many changes did it go through once Kanye got it?
2. Did Kanye do any other concepts over the beat besides Power?
3. What’s your usual process when making a beat?
Ask him about the process of making Guilt Trip. I think I have read that it was an old idea Kanye used for Yeezus, how much did they change it from the initial idea to the final version with other co-producers.
its clear that ye's approach to music became more hybridized after dark fantasy, starting with the executive producer role he played in WTT/CS/Yeezus leading up to him finishing albums in a week. He even stated in the 2013 Zane Lowe interview that he felt he needed to reinvent himself after MBDTF. Is ye's distancing from music perfectionism something that S1 experienced in the studio first hand? Does he believe Kanye's reluctance to make another MBDTF is largely credited to creative burnout in the studio, a shift in music consumption, a natural progression from music to fashion, or a mixture of all 3?
Congrats bro!

Great questions
Is it true that the chanting sample was actually remade in the studio?
And what came first? The sample? Or was it added later on.
Congrats on this @op be sure to share the interview with us! 🙌🏽

How does it feel when people only ask you about Kanye?
Hahahaha, and the winner is Onetwo
How does ye smell
Something smelling like s***

How hands on is Kanye in studio?
Was Eminem's song Normal made as a Drake parody?
What can he say about working with The Game, and what does he he thinks about sequels to classic albums like mmlp2 and documentary 2, since he worked on both of them. Does it enhance the project or the other way around?
