he wrote and featured on one of his victim's album (aaliyah), the album was called "age ain't nothing but a number"

he wrote and produced the entire album except at your best , a cover I think)

Bro had a few hit songs that were good, that's it. Not a classic album to his name (a few good ones though), and he is frankly a mediocre vocalist. As far as 90s R&B is concerned Ginuwine mops the goddamn floor with R. Kelly as a vocalist, as do Jodeci, Boyz II Men, D'Angelo of course, Maxwell, Usher, Joe, s*** even 90s MJ was running laps around R. Kelly, as was Prince.

Dude's name other than the "Ignition Remix", literally one f***in song, barely came up since the late 2000s. He gets caught up being a serial pedophile, and now people are worried about cancel culture and artistic legacy. Where was this energy in like 2017? Who the f*** was checking for R. Kelly after like 2008? What's the game gonna miss, his Jay Z collab albums? His mid Stevie Wonder impressions?

R. Kelly always been a half assed artist and the reason his music is going to be forgotten is because it's forgettable music.

Talented people have the capacity to do vile and nasty things. Trying to do this revisionist history stuff, is detrimental in the long run. It just gives leeway for there to be another R Kelly.
