Only Built for Cuban Linx 2 was underwhelming to me. It was supposed to drop on Aftermath and after many delays he got dropped by the label then released it elesewhere. I'm sure he had to redo a bunch of material originally made by Dr Dre for the original release.

Although it's cool Pete Rock and J Dilla were all over the album, it was beats that had already been used previously. It felt more like a mixtape then an actual album.

Hopefully this is better. One day I guess.

I think he might drop it next year in honor of the first one's 30th anniversary. He said also he planned to drop a "prequel" album maybe that will drop this year.

I thought 2 was one of few sequel albums that actually lived up.
