who the f*** is talking about music theory, we’re talking about rapping my nigga

I don’t ever think about “music theory” when writing 16s and 32s with my homies lmao wtf. niggas are just tryna wash each other on the songs and make it an impactful song as well

you're saying its impressive to fit bars you've already practiced into a beat you've never heard before when in reality it's not that hard to do that lol

memory recall of 16-32 distinct bars then fitting it onto a melody you’ve never heard is easy???

bruh people can barely recite lines for a movie or poem why you think Ye requested acapella lmfaooo we’re done here. have a blessed day

  • I ain't mad at it.

    Take Em out though.

LL Cool J and Ye both practiced their verses multiple times before going up to that radio room and laying the verses so I dont know why you're glazing Cool J for doing it over a beat rather than Ye just spitting his acapella. Ye's verse is way better yet you're more wow'ed by the fact Cool J did it over a beat.

What's there to understand....? If you have ears it's not really hard to realize why so many greats and people in general hold him in high regard ....

What other rapper has touched the heights Eminem has lyrically and commercially...?

What's harder to understand is actually comments like this one

Eminem is literally one of the greatest lyricists to ever touch a microphone. Have you by chance heard any of his acclaimed albums? Not really hard to understand, but I guess it is for you!

I agree with you on this,

Sometimes I write my 16’s to no beat, slow beats, fast beats, metal, punk,

When i’m making beats I just try em on different beats till i find a good match

exactly. you can write a verse on anything and switch syllables out / tweak the flow to match any beat as long as the bpm's aren't massvely different.

bro replying to me obviously has never tried to write any raps or lyrics before

it will more than likely be an out of nowhere collab album tbh

Nas was supposed to be on Sing About Me

honestly im kinda glad that he wasn't on Sing About Me

i don't think he would have fit on it since it's such a personal song to kendrick. however, we still need a collab between the two expeditiously

Most acclaimed artists have something to offer, even if it may not be your cup of tea, it's still worth digging into these artists and seeing what their appeal is to other people. Just because you don't like an artist doesn't mean they aren't skilled

Even with the massive BPM change, you can still flow if you understand how bpms work lol

exactly, which is why i found that guys comments to be laughable. he's literally wow'd by Cool J's average ass verse and trying to s*** on Kanye

  • Rakim list is solid, aside from Eminem IMO.

@Valentine I know you hating on Ye but that Dark Fantasy verse is an elite verse at the end of the day.
