FlyHiiiJust noticed lately a lot of people really fw HNVM but tbh it might be my least fav Drake album. It’s between that and DLDT or CLB

It’s a giant snoozefest to me, Majid Jordan kind of fell off but they did it better imo. They could pull off something in the same realm while still keeping an atmospheric sound which I vastly prefer
HNVM feels very phoned in to me. Like they made the whole album of instrumentals first and then Drakes vocals were just an afterthought. No lyrics or melodies that stick for me

of course nothing is automatically good because of a set of perimeters. but that was a good project because of what it accomplished in 6 songs. its a project most do not care for because its boring to them, even if he’s rapping his ass off. nobody wants a project of ten songs that are like Sandra’s Rose, they couldnt even withstand 6 lol
