It’s funny how

People work tirelessly to get rich and out of the rat race of everyday life just to end up adopting a much more ridiculous lifestyle that requires them to enter into a stepped up version of the same rat race.

Often times leaving people who make it to that level to think, “why did I sacrifice so much for this?”

It’s all an illusion. Chasing some fictional portrayal of happiness you can’t find in any dollar amount.

Rather live in the illusion and regret it later with money than not enter at all and die broke

It’s not inherently wrong to get rich, that’s not my point. You can get money and maintain a sensible lifestyle that can last you a lifetime but it usually never pans out that way

I disagree. Make the right moves and a sensible lifestyle is very possible

I always wonder what people would be able do with their money if they didn't chase after material things.

I know it’s possible.. I said it rarely happens. Because the lifestyle changes drastically even with “the right moves”

Then when the right moves aren’t right anymore, and your lifestyle still demands your old income you’re f***ed

Which one is it: possible or rare?
You can do it bro. Its gonna take work in school or the workplace but you can do it just as much as anyone else

I have a friend who’s a multi million dollar athlete. We went to school together. Dude spends so radically that he’s panicking when he has only like 300k left and he doesn’t have anything lined up. V

Every single year same s***. An M or two and dude could be set for life if he could just chill out on all the extras
