Ya'll say this like it's a bad thing but forget that the Blog Era had Pop and EDM dominating the charts: Lady Gaga, Adele, Calvin Harris, DJ Guetta, Katy Petty, Bieber, Lorde, Rihanna, etc.
Calvin Harris and Guetta made some classics back then
Even Durk and Morgan's song came and went. Could have been a hit.

Dropping in the middle of Christmas was dumb. I like it though, still listen to it.
Did you look at the Hot 100?
You think suburban radio stations are gonna play YB? Radio has the biggest pull on the 100
Hot100 is outdated

Radio friendly rap music was around back then, something that isn’t around as much now
It’s still the leading genre
And he only had 1 hit song, a bad one imo, and I like Drake.
Drake had more than 1 hit off CLB. This is why y’all gotta stop looking at charts to see what’s poppin. Y’all be out of touch.

Well, he only had one on the charts. And I didn't like CLB anyway. It's the first Drake album I can't get into.
