I'm talking about lines that no matter how many times you hear them your gut instinct is to interpret them in a different way than they were meant.
When Drake says Man, if your pub was up for sale, I buy the whole thing on FPS I think he's talking about an actual bar because I read a lot of books from British authors as a kid and he's speaking with a British accent.
On Champagne Poetry when Drake says Future sign the contracts, he don't even show it to me
it always takes me out because I instinctively think of contracts as between the rapper and label, not a payment for a feature. So it sounds to me like Drake's implying A. Future's so dumb he needs someone else to read his label contracts for him. B. Drake is the only person in his life capable of doing so.
To the point that if Future doesn't show his contracts to Drake, it must because the contracts are so good it's obvious, not that Future had a lawyer or a different friend look at them.
Disclaimer for illiterate KTT2ers: I am not saying I think Future is dumb, I'm saying my misinterpretation of the line makes it sound like Drake does.
which in turn is funny, which is why I brought it up. it was not to disrespect Drake OR Future
“Okay, I pull my cash out, shawty pass out
Take her ass out, then I spaz out”
I don’t think Lil Peep meant that to sound the way it does. But it does every time

i know the line but never paid enough attention to Peep's lyrics to think about it. That's like those Foogiano lyrics where he accidentally confesses to rape
there is very little room for interpretation in Foogiano's case tho
im touching on her cock
i haven't listened to the song in ages, but is there a different interpretation than the obvious?
“I take sacks to the face, whenever I can”
tbf i don't think any gay man or straight woman has said "I take sacks to the face"
like it sounds gay but it would never be used in that context
I feel like Pizza Mike was tryna warn me....
LOL. i fw your name. I've never seen the sopranos but i know of ralphie bc multiple people have told me I remind them of him

He's talking about Future the Prince, his manager. Not Future the rapper.
