its actually a really well hidden statistic how much male on male rape/sexual assault happens in male dominated collectives like this. its not just the army, its also in fraternities, sports teams, and public service but its almost always suppressed for PR purposes. s*** is f***ed up and needs to be addressed

The article/video is from 2011. They've been downsizing and trying to repair their image since then. I know in 2012 they stopped letting people in for multiple alcohol/drug related incidences. Hell, back in the early 2000s if you had multiple DWIs they made you join the military. I've been also told if you're in and not pursuing further education or advancement they don't let you re-enlist.

Mandatory anti sexual harassment/assault/rape briefings are common.

Some of them are pretty good tho, they bring in profession speakers who do like improv and stuff while still getting the message across.
