I havent heard his music but doing that s*** is unhealthy for the soul.

and it almost always shows in the art.

if you are willing to do anything for money (which is essentially what this is at this point) why not pick a profession with better financial prospects? idk

Now I get this isn’t ground shattering revelation but it is really crazy to hear a rapper admit he’s not making what he think is good, moreso because he’s really talented and can really rap but instead gotta make music you’d hear a nail tech play.

His music has drastically changed too. I used to think he was the one

unironically i think this is what drake does too

are u saying this because you dont like drake/got disillusioned with him over time? or as somebody who enjoys his music and just genuinely thinks this? or something in the middle?

I have no idea. If I had to bet though, I would put my money on him enjoying the majority of his music. He might make stuff he knows is appropriate for the radio, or he knows a certain demographic might fw, but I dont think he legit doesnt like his music and only makes stuff he thinks others likes. His career is too long and varied and in the beginning was too against the grain. But who knows, only way to know would be to ask him and he be honest about the answer.

  • yeah i used to love him and sada on songs together

    i dont think so

i always took this line to refer to kanye creating entire new sounds and eras for each album. most of which were very controversial in their time and pushed art in the 21st century forward.

it means opposite of this thread title.

theres no world kanye doing stuff onyl other people wanna hear. he literally made a song about sucking his cousins d***. thats as personal and careless as far as what the opinons of people listening to it are, can be.

do you think 50 was making music, for other people instead of himself, when he made get rich or die trying? or that the reason that album is so good, was because he didnt do that.

  • TAXI

I think it’s everything after get rich

But even on get rich he was making songs about being in the club drinking and getting high and in interviews he said he don’t do none of that but that he wanted to give that to ppl who do lol

Sada legit was a top 5 rapper in the world at a point of time. Idk if there’s a correlation but his father passed away after bartier bounty 2 and it seemed to kinda go down hill from there
