Lofi hip hop is just hip hop beats made by cacs who have contempt for hip hop culture. There’s nothing that distinguishes it from Dilla, nujabes or boom bap in general, other than the fact that it’s an attempt to gentrify and remove the culture from it

all it'll take is one or two established stars hopping on a lofi hip hop beats to study to type beat and i can see ti becoming a wave
