Cloning Drake is gonna be hard
Not sure any label will succeed with their experiment

His story is also one of a kind
People saw him as lame for the first 4 years and the rebrand from 14-15 changed a lot of things

Drake is influenced by future
Not too keen on Future’s mixtapes so I’ll need the receipts of him rapping and singing R&B before So Far Gone for this to be passed as factual
The truthful answer is that Drake has an amazing voice and Thug has a really unique delivery and inflection.
When artists are influenced by Thug, it's obvious because it's a style that he so distinctly fathered. When artists are influenced by Drake, they won't be able to replicate his main appeal because they won't sound as similar.

Some of you guys are slow. OP is talking about literally rapping like Drake. I asked this same exact question and @Durkio_World answered pretty perfectly: it makes sense that these young street rappers would imitate street rappers like Thug and Future, it would be weird if they imitated Drake's voice

He had drake on that raw gritty trap shìt don’t cap
Imagine a young Atlanta nigga tryna sound like a nigga from Canada who sounds like he's from Houston and enunciates his words perfectly
Recipe for disaster

Any artist that sings and raps is influenced by drake
Drake wasn’t the first rapper to sing on song
He's super basic. They know they're not gonna blow up sounding like him
There was a time period where everyone sounded like Drake.. niggas just moved on and now copy future and thug
