I find it interesting how Wayne influenced two different and opposite sides of rap. He influenced rappers to use more punchlines and metaphors like Drake and Kendrick, essentially the lyrical side of rap but he also influenced rappers to use more slurred, narcotic infused melodic rap that lacks intricate wordplay like Future and Young Thug.
